Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

DeVries Landscape Management has been providing the finest outdoor lawn care for over 50 years. Our successful growth continues and now is the perfect time to join our growing team. Primary Duties Include, but not limited to:

  • Ability to manage a crew to ensure daily tasks are completed well
  • Loading/Unloading and Performing daily inspection of trucks and trailers
  • Mow grass, edge, weed whip, blow trimmings and other lawn care duties performed with a high attention to detail
  • Operate power equipment including, but not limited to lawn mower, weed whip, blowers, stick edgers

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience operating commercial grounds maintenance equipment
  • Ability to manage a crew to ensure daily tasks are completed well
  • Good communication with customers, staff and managers
  • Dependable with strong work ethic
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Positive and Team Player
  • Strong Attention to detail to ensure professional results that our customers expect
  • Valid drivers license with Acceptable driving record

Weed Man Lawn Care Technician

As we continue to grow, Weed Man offers full-time, seasonal employment opportunities (position is from March to November with options for winter employment). We are currently looking for energetic, customer-service oriented individuals to be our next great Lawn Care Service Technician. As a lawn care professional, you will be responsible to service customer lawns on your route as you apply fertilizer, treat weeds, and perform other professional applications while insuring amazing customer service. You will also be responsible for accurately measuring lawns, providing quotes and/or lawn analysis, and making field sales.

This job requires a valid Michigan driver’s license with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. If you are not certified by the state to spray herbicides, you must be able to pass the exam within 2 weeks of hire date. Weed Man is a drug-free environment.

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Willing to become certified to apply pesticides within two weeks of hire date
